FAQ’s

Why do you no longer have samples in shadows and blushes? DreamWorld has undergone a total reorganization and reformulation. What I found is that I spent so much time making up samples and then running out of them constantly that it was easier and more cost efficient to just sell the full size. The same goes for the blushes.
Why do you only have 3 types of foundation now? Honestly it was getting too much for me to keep up with the foundations I used to carry. Being only 1 person, it was outrageous. So trying to save on time, I cut out the ones that were not really ordered often.
Why are your foundation samples so small? I found while researching that many times there is big waste and lots of money spent that doesn’t need to be. You as the customer are looking for the “perfect color” and I don’t feel you should have to spend lots of money to do that…so I have decreased the size of the samples down to 1/8 th tsp. and at the same time cut the cost accordingly. This has cut cost, plus has cut waste, which is the overall plan.
Why are the shadows so large? While working my way through the re-launching process my products have undergone a radical change and happened sometimes from one day until the next. I truly wanted to offer shadows without sifters, but felt they were messy and if you dropped them, well there goes the container. So to prevent that and other issues that arise from traditional sifters, I went to a 10 gm jar that could hold more, plus I could get special sifters for. I hope this will solve many of the problems that are out there. And even though the size is almost double from what you would normally get, I was able to keep the prices down. Not as great as some would like, but much nicer then many other places who sell the same size!
Why are some of the shadow and blush jars only half full? Not all micas or pigments are created equal ! And for this reason, some are heavier then others. Each jar is weighed so that customers get the correct amount of the product. So you will notice that some jars are full while others have space in them. If you have a concern though, please do NOT hesitate to contact me.
What is the Ghost Society? How does it work? Why is it called the Ghost Society?
The Ghost Society is a plan that DreamWorld will put into place that is a form of customer appreciation!
Each month a product will be highlighted and decreased for that month 25%, so customers can grab it at a reduced price.
Plus, for each order over $ 15 (doesn’t include shipping), customers will receive a gift, plus the sample of the month. It will be posted each month on what the gifts are and what the limits are. The sample will range from month to month but many times it will be the product that will be coming out new the following month, and which will be highlighted, so you will have the opportunity to try it out free before choosing if you wish to purchase it.
As for the free gift, that will also change from month to month. And if you order more then twice in a month, please leave me a message and I will attempt to have a second gift waiting so you do not receive the same gift twice in a month, unless you want a second one!
As for the name Ghost Society, I came up with the initials G-gift, H-highlight and S-sample, but I wanted something besides that to portray the plan I have, so alas, it became The Ghost Society.
Is your shipping times fixed? Yes! My goal before I truly reopened permanently was to make sure that I could ship quickly. No one likes to wait, and for me it would be frustrating also…so what I have done is work hard so that each product that is up for sale was made in bulk is ready to ship when the order comes in and inventory is done daily to keep things that way. I am officially stating that shipping time could be up to 14 days excluding holidays but I will place the TAT (turn around time) on the front page and update it daily.
Why are all the old shadow and blush colors gone? Actually they are not all gone. Many are in hiatus. What I am doing is working through all the older colors, reformulating those for better adhesion and more color, then will be reintroducing them per world. You will also see new colors added to the worlds as they are re-introduced…so there is a lot to look forward to.
Do you test on animals? Absolutely NOT! Nor will we ever. I am a true animal lover, and would never do that. For this reason even our brushes are synthetic unless otherwise specified.
Are your products vegan? At the present time they are a mixture. My magical lip wands are not vegan as they have beeswax in them. My lip teasers are. My ectoplasmic lips are also vegan, as the changelings are also. My shadows are, and so are the foundations, blushes and finishing powders, except for the whipped series.
Will you changing to all vegan? Not totally , although I will be getting rid of the silk powder, as I am able. I have found a product that is plant based that mimics silk powder, so will be switching to that. All my brushes are synthetic, and I wish to keep them this way. I will also be coming out with a magical wand that is vegan. My lipsticks are vegan. In actuality, there will few things that are not vegan that I will carry and those products will be bee based, such as honey, beeswax, and propolis. So if there are any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Do your products offer spf? When you say you have spf to something it has been specially tested and is also then considered a drug, according to the FDA laws. Since DreamWorld is such a small company, it just isn’t feasible to do that.
Does DreamWorld wholesale their products? At this time no. I have thought on it off and on, but with just myself that would be too much.
Does DreamWorld use nano size minerals in their products? No, we do no. All minerals are micronized, but we attempt to find and use the larges sizes available.
Will me using mineral makeup cause any respiratory issues for me? No. There is of course dust, and you don’t want to breathe in a lot of it, or snort it! So for you the customer it is very safe.
Do you accept credit cards? We sure do! But we accept them through the pay pal vendor, so that your information is always safe. You do NOT need a pay pal account to pay this way.
Are DreamWorld products natural? Handmade? Every product DreamWorld sells is handmade by the owner, unless otherwise specified. Our products are made with natural and synthetic ingredients that have been highly researched and are as safe as can be. MANY ingredients that are thought to be natural are nnow are made in a factory. Yes, there are Iron Oxides, but the true Iron oxides are very dangerous with all the lead and other impurities in them. By creating them and cleaning them in the factory they are being made safe. So when someone says all natural, just understand they are “safe” and as natural as they can be.
Does DreamWorld resell private label for any of their products? Not at this time and there is no plan to do that unless it is for mascara. If that happens I will be very upfront and let everyone know where the product comes from and it will have the name from the original company also.
