Roads To Dreamworld

I found this explanation on the forum from one member to another and thought it was so good that I would go ahead an post it here….

It is perfect for anyone first coming here and wanting to learn all the can about DreamWorld….

The entire theme of the site is fantasy.

Basically, the site is divided into “worlds” based on different themes.

Rose Oasis: All the foundations are named after Goddesses from mythology. An oasis is like a paradise and in this case it’s the paradise where those goddesses relax.
Vapor- Light coverage. Vapor is like a light mist and you can see through it.
Clouds- Medium to heavy coverage. A clouds is thicker than a mist but you can still see through it but not as easily
Luna- Heavy Coverage. Luna means moon and the luna foundation will hide your imperfections like the ethereal light of the moon.

Pigment Worlds: There are lots of different worlds that contain blushes and shadows where the colors were designed based on a theme. The shadow/blush link is a page where you can view them by color group (such as browns) instead of within their worlds but the worlds are so much fun:
Cambria (a world of pixies/fairies and other enchanted creatures)
Camelot(a world from fairytales usually associated with king arthur and lancelot),
Abydos (based on Egyptian gods/goddesses)
Chaos(based on unusual mythical creatures and monsters of legend)
Mt. Olympus (from mythology, the home of the mythical gods and goddesses mainly Greek and Roman)
Tinsel Towne (creations from glitter and glitter and mica…still developing the idea)
Queens of the Night (new world based on darkness, mythical, mystical queens and night time, again still developing the idea. Will be a world of dark, intense, bright colors that are perfect for going out at night.)
Trinity (the trinity symbolizes the stages of womanhood- maiden, mother, crone, colors named after famous women in history)
Magical Gardens (based on living forever, being it as an angel, as a ghost, as an immortal, or just in our hearts. This is a charity world, where 15% of the profits will be donated to varying charities, in memory or in honor of different people. World is in memory of 19 year old Katelyn, who died in 2009 in a car accident.Will be a world of intense bright colors that are fun.)
Treasures (this world is also to honor lost ones, or special people in our lives. Can also be extended to animals, since they so enrich our lives every day with the generous love they have to share with us. They are the true meaning of unconditional love!)
Amazon( based off the mythical women warriors of Greek mythology)
Valkyries(based off the Scandinavian mythology of women handmaidens to Odin who bring brave men who lost their lives on th)e battlefield to Valhalla, waiting for the last battle of the world, Ragnarok)
Trilogy, Wheel of Being( world of numbers, where you can buy shows in sets. Right now just sets of 3 are available)
BookWorm(a new world, with shadow colors based off of popular books that have been read)
Evolution of Chaos(limited edition world that will feature a new set of colors every 3 months. By doing this each set will be available for 6 months before being discontinued)
Avalon(World of King Arthur also, but after his final battle where he escaped to Avalon. The colors in this world are matte. New colors coming soon!)
Atlantis(World of the ancients. These colors are true duochromes and are fun to use!!)

Glowworms: These are mineral glow powders- They’re a little bit shimmery and some of them are bronzers. They make your skin “glow”. (If you are wondering what a glowworm is, i only know it as a childhood toy that you would hug and it lit up)
Cream Toppings: These are finishing powders. They all have “topping” names like the “toppings” you would put on icecream.
Whipped Cocoons: These are also finishing powders but they’re made out of silk powder. (Silk comes from the cocoons of silkworms and since these are only available in silk, they’re named cocoons.)
Underlings: These are primer powders that you wear under your makeup. Right now there are two types. Mummy dust is an all over face primer that acts as a base for your foundation. You can choose to get one that will help absorb oil if your skin is oily. Pasiqea is an undereye concealer in case your eyes are dark. It’s meant to hide that darkness. (Pasiqea is the goddess of sleep and sleep is what gets rid of dark circles)
